Afshin Gorgin is a Los Angeles-based cultural correspondent for VOA Persian. His reports are featured on the Shabahang Progam. He previously worked as program director of KIRN, entertainment programmer for RFE/RL's Radio Azadi and President of radioiranonline.com. He is the son of veteran broadcaster Iraj Gorgin.
