In the first part of the program, UCLA organist and organ professor Christoph Bull performed works by Nicolaus Bruhns, Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Johannes Brahms, N.J. Schneider and himself. In the second part of the program, Bull improvised organ score to Walther Ruttmann's 1927 masterpiece Berlin: Die Sinfonie der Großstadt". This UCLA Live event was part of the Goethe-Institut 40th anniversary celebration of Los Angeles' sister city partnership with Berlin.
