Norooz Celebrations - LA City Hall (March 16, 2007)                             The Los Angeles City Council held a special celebration for the Persian new year "Norooz" for the third consecutive year. The Council members & Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa marked the holiday with a proclamation. Following the ceremony, attendees headed to the rotunda, and then onto the patio on Spring Street, where authentic Persian cuisine was served.
